Superba Krill Oil comes from the Antarctic krill species Euphausia Superba. Krill is a small shrimp-like crustacean packed with long-chain omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), phospholipids, choline and astaxanthin.
Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA
These essential fatty acids are perhaps the most researched nutrients that may provide many health benefits.
Phospholipids
Phospholipids promote the incorporation of omega-3 fatty acids into cell membranes more effectively than other marine oils.
Colin
Choline is an essential nutrient, vital for many body functions, such as nerve signaling, liver and muscle function. Our body cannot produce enough of it, so we have to get it from our food.
Astaxanthin
This natural antioxidant gives krill oil its beautiful red color. It also protects the oil from oxidation, eliminating the need to add preservatives.
