Yerba Mate Energizing Iced Lemonade
Refreshing Summer Drink
Yerba mate tea is known for its unique invigorating properties, which can help fight fatigue naturally. This energizing iced lemonade is not only incredibly refreshing, but also a healthy alternative to sugary sodas and energy drinks loaded with additives. A perfect choice for summer days when you need a light, vitamin-rich and stimulating drink.

Yerba mate energizing iced lemonade
Ingredients (for approx. 4 servings)
- 3-4 tablespoons of yerba mate chopped tea leaves
- 1.2 liters of water (of which approx. 0.6 liters cold)
- 2 medium lemons
- natural sweetener (e.g. honey, erythritol, stevia)
- ice cubes and mint leaves for serving
Preparation
First, moisten the yerba mate tea leaves with a little cold water, then pour hot water over them. Let them steep for 3-5 minutes, then cool slightly. Then strain the tea into a large pitcher, add freshly squeezed lemon juice, and sweeten with natural sweetener. Pour the remaining cold water over them, then refrigerate until completely cool. Serve with ice cubes and fresh mint leaves for a refreshing and refreshing drink.
