Triphala, translated as =three fruits=, it is composed of the dried fruits of amalaki, bibhitaki and haritaki. It is one of the oldest and most renowned herbal formulas in the Vedic tradition and popular for its unique nutritional content. Triphala has a strong taste. It is recommended to drink it with juice or to place honey on the tongue before swallowing. While it is possible to find triphala in pill form, the powder is more effective and can be mixed in a small amount of cold or warm water or simmered and drunk as a medicinal tea. Our triphala is made only from nutritious pulp (toxic seeds removed).
