Reform Coconut Ball with Ashwagandha

The classic retro dessert is now reimagined, supplemented with nutritious and functional ingredients! This reform coconut ball recipe is not only delicious and easy to make, but with the addition of ashwagandha powder it is a real superfood delicacy. The slightly bitter taste of ashwagandha disappears completely in the sweetness, while the beneficial effects of the herb – such as reducing stress and increasing energy levels – remain.

Reform coconut ball with ashwagandha
Ingredients (for approx. 20 pieces = 4 servings)
- 1-1.5 cups oat flour
- ½ cup ground almonds
- 1 tsp. ashwagandha powder (max. 4 g)
- 1 banana
- 1.5 dl plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened organic cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp. erythritol
- coconut flakes for rolling
Preparation
Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the mashed banana and plant-based milk. Work into a smooth, moldable dough. If necessary, add a little more plant-based milk to achieve the right consistency. Form balls with wet hands and roll in coconut flakes.
