This essential oil is a true cocktail oil! BioMenü Lavandin Super organic essential oil is made from a hybrid plant, which is a mixture of true lavender (angustifolia) and spiky lavender (latifolia). The plant is grown in the mountains of France, in areas higher than the traditional lavender habitat.
It carries the same aroma as lavender, but with a much more lively and stronger scent. It is used in many different products, mainly for fragrance, be it candles, creams or soaps.
Lavender and levandin are plants belonging to the mint family, but they are different species.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is known for its fragrant flowers and is used in cosmetics, perfumes and aromatherapy.
Lavender (Lavandula x intermedia) is a hybrid plant that is larger than lavender and has a stronger scent.
It is often used in commercial products such as soaps and candles.
