Spirulina truffle balls with almonds and dates
Ingredients (for about 3-4 servings)
- ¾ cup soaked almonds, ground
- 1 cup finely ground oatmeal
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 3 tsp. spirulina algae powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
- 3-4 tbsp. water (or plant-based milk)
- 2 tbsp. organic cocoa butter (melted)
- 3 tbsp. organic cocoa powder (+ approx. the same for rolling)
Preparation
- Pour the ingredients together in a food processor until you get a smooth, moldable mass.
- If the mass is too thick, add water or plant milk until you reach the right consistency.
- Form equal-sized balls and place them in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Roll the truffle balls in cocoa powder before serving.
