Homemade chips with kelp algae and spirulina
Ingredients (approx. 2 for baking sheet)
- 200 g chickpea flour
- 2 tablespoons kelp algae powder
- 1 tablespoon spirulina powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for extra crunch)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- approx. 100-150 ml water (you need a slightly softer, but not runny dough)
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients, then add the olive oil and water until you get a kneadable, thick dough. Rest for approx. 15 minutes.
Place the dough on a lightly oiled baking sheet, cover with another sheet of paper and roll out thinly. Remove the top layer and place the dough on a baking sheet with the baking sheet.
Bake at 160 °C for 15–20 minutes until the chips are crispy. Cool and break into pieces.
Tip: for an even more intense flavor, sprinkle with smoked paprika, chili or freshly grated lemon zest before baking.
These spirulina and kelp chips are not only a healthy snack, but also a special, homemade delicacy that fits well with a health-conscious lifestyle.
